Hi all,
It is nearly that time of year again. The Waikato Scale Model Club will be holding its annual model competition on Saturday 1st of June at the Hamilton Cosmopolitan Club - all modelers are welcome.
If you want to enter a model, there is a $5.00 fee per entry, with a maximum charge of $20.00 per person.
We have a bunch of cool trophies (courtesy of Deane Salzwedel), so bring your best models and put them on the table….you never know you might win!
We will also be running raffles through the day…so there is a chance you could pick up prize there too.
Bay Hobbies (our club sponsor) and Parker Hobbies will have vendor displays at the venue – good opportunity to add some models to your stash or pick up some nice painting supplies.
The WSMC model competition is held in conjunction with the Hamilton Immortals painting competition, so if you come along, you’ll get to see some of their cool wargames miniatures on display too.
Entry to the model competition will be between 9 am-12 pm
Doors will open to the public at 10 am
Prizegiving will be at 4 pm
Event finishes at 5 pm
