Cool!
The accurate armour T50 turret is not bad, lots of resin for your dollar!, the Aussie armour one i find is good value, as you get the rear deck vented lid, plus lots of other bits that is typical to the kiwi buckets.
Also a point to note, the aussie armour ones (kit # 353) come in raised .50cal barrel and horizontal ones, only figured this out after looking thru my pile of T50 turrets...
(The mouse armour ones are also good, but we did not use any real turret basket...)
I will post some good info on the Kiwi m113's for your ref tomorrow...
Check out these guys, I have spent lots of $$ with them, great stuff!!! if you want a review let me know, got lots of it!

www.mheaust.com.au/MHE/Catalogue.htm

if you want any info on kiwi 1/35 stuff let me know, im not a library but have lots of post war stuff, namely knowing the conversion sets etc...
Currently I am finished a U1300L kiwi mog, with corrected details, including wheels etc... an a mid service M113 LRV (T50).

Happy to see other recent kiwi armour modellers out there :)

Wrong scale for most of you here, but recently came across this on sale at Hannants, and it even includes NZ markings as an option:

Full review here (with a scan of the paint instructions which may be of help with colour information):

Thanks for the link, i have a few of the old 1/76 airfix offerings but this looks very neat, perfect for a the C-130 hercules diorama :) .
Out of interest the second photo in my first post was from their (ACE models) website prior to official release of the kit...
Never new it had kiwi decals, super cool!!

Thanks Grunzter. I didn't even know that Aussie Armour existed. I've already spotted a few products of theirs that I want to purchase (Including their M113 turret - wow! Look at the detail on that!)
The M113 pics would be very much appreciated :)

The little 1/72 Scorpion looks rather nice - especially the etched tracks.

Progress on my own Scorpion stalled at the moment until my etched brass bits turn up.

I've got one on the way from Hannants now as well. Not sure how keen I am on the photo-etched tracks idea though.

Maybe flick Gary (G1, number 1, or whatever he thinks he is :P ) a PM and get his email addy, and you can send all the images to him and through the kindness of his heart, he'll add them to the KM reference library :cheer: (if he's not too busy finishing the B-25  )

It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

Thanks so much for all the pics, and your help Grunzter! Craig, you should put your Scorpion build up in the 1/72 armour section - that part of the forum is looking a bit bare.

Fruil offer two types of CVR(T) tracks, one called early:
www.friulmodel.hu/en/atl-106-scorpion-sc...ily-early-type-i192/

And the other 'late':
www.friulmodel.hu/en/atl-107-scorpion-sc...mily-late-type-i193/

Anyone know which type is appropriate for a Kiwi one?

Have a set of these on the way from Wee Friends/Friendship Models. 1/72 British AFV crew. Not 100% accurate, but in 1/72 and with some small mods, will fill the hatches quite nicely. Might actually have to break with tradition and build a section of the Waiouru Desert Area for a base
