New modelling space was created by grover
Hey all. Im finally about to start planning a new shed which will include a new modelling space. I have a couple of questions

Apart from storage, is there anything you would consider a must-have? just looking at any left-field ideas I may not have thought of. Ive probably got about 2.5x3 meters to play with

2nd. I'm looking at compressor options. I could go down the small traditional compressor, or look at a larger compressor and plumb in a few hose lines, and one for pumping up car tyres. Any recommendations, or things to consider?

I should sat to the right of this pic is a storage area that is part of the whole shed, which the compressor could go in.

One thing that could be done if you haven't thought about it already, is an extractor fan in one of the windows?
As for compressor, those big ones wouldn't get to noisy at night?

In Progress:
Tamiya 1/48 F-117A
Hasegawa 1/48 TA-4K

Good move with the CAD layout, I did the same.
As Fritz says ventilation, you probably won't want to go as nuts as I did so a simple vent that you hook the hose up to and can close to stop the cold and bugs wandering in when you're not blowing paint out.
Other thing is lights, I don't know if you've got a false ceiling planned or not but there are some really cool white LED lights on Ali Express for a fraction of what they cost here. My hole room was lit that way and I have no need for lights on my bench and the whole lot use the same electric as two regular light bulbs.
Look at the light specifications and draw cones to represent the light, you can then see what lux they need to be to fully light your benchtops while dispersing lower down.
