Been a bit AWOL again here lately. Been a mad last couple of months. We were invaded and occupied by the inlaws for 12 days over Christmas and New Years (Only consolation was we had a overnight sitter for the first time in 8+ years). I've managed to give myself Tennis Elbow just before Christmas as well. Lost nearly 80% of strength in my (dominant) right arm. Slowly starting to get better with treatment. I've been building a bit of Lego with the kids too, which hasn't left too much time for modelling.
I made a bit of an effort to get to the bench over the past few nights, and have got this to the ready to paint stage. Tamiya's 1974 vintage 1/35 M113 APC. For a 40+ year old kit, it isn't too bad. I replaced the 50 cal with a newer one from a Tamiya detail set. I'm far more happy with how the gun sits now. Also drilled out the exhaust to make it a bit more realistic.
I'm on an Olive Drab building frenzy now. Going to build a few more vehicles that will be OD, and have a big painting spree. There is a parts set I want to get for my German AFVs, before getting back into those
It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.
Hey long time no see. great to see you back at the bench and APC looks good.
Haven't had much bench time myself also with injury and just lazy and too hot.
I'm on a bit of an OD bender myself and same as you waiting for kits to be completed then a spraying bender
