Tamiya 35017 German 88mm Flak 36 WIP was created by Andrew
Amongst the recent madness of the wedding, I managed to get this assembled. Tamiya's 1972 vintage 88mm Flak 36. I added a Lionmarc turned barrel which has helped the detail on the kit immensely. Being such an old kit, a lot more clean up was required

Still deciding on a finish for it. Leaning towards winter whitewash over German Grey

It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

Hey Andrew
This one is looking sweet too. I have the desert boxing of the same kit. Good to know about the barrel, it does look much better. Winter white wash scheme has my vote.
Richard.

Thanks.

I toyed with the idea of the North African boxing, but this one was $15 cheaper so it won out lol

Get a barrel for your one, it is worth the investment

Almost a year later, primer on

Still not 100% on the final scheme, but will get some Dark Yellow on next, then go from there. Am tempted to try some Ammo 'Washable White' on it
