Modern tank comparison (real life). was created by Phil5000
Sup fellas,

I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of my Zvedza T-90 and working on an M1A1HA in the meantime and it got me thinking, are there any tanks in the world that could stand toe to toe as it were with a M1A2 or a Challenger 2? Are there any that could knock them out from the front, or survive a hit from one from the front?

Funny story about the Zvedza T-90. I'm having to wait because I got one from ebay and its coming from China. Little did I know that Mightyape stock them. I'd like have it right now if I'd checked there first!

I forgot the first rule... always check with Mightyape first.

The Leopard 2 series has been regarded as one of the best since its introduction

I think I'd prefer to watch it all from an A-10.

I have the same kit and it's a beaut to put together, very nicely engineered.
As to real world, not really, perhaps a leopard maybe or the south korean black panther. Chally's in particular have superb armour, some during the iraq and afghan wars have survived 10-20 rpg hits and the crew only had minor injuries. The tanks were then repaired relatively easy and put back into the fray. Abrams can be taken out but as to by another tank, the only challengers (so to speak) would be other allied tanks so not really something that would ever be tested.

In Soviet Russia, Iron Curtain GB builds you!

People look at me funny when I say I own "Fifty shades of Grey". FS36118, FS36270, FS36375.....
